We hope to convey the pursuit of profound inner peace found solely through Jesus Christ. Many have pursued such tranquility through worldly avenues.
Consider this analogy: when water is poured into a glass and left on the counter, it eventually evaporates, leaving the glass empty. This illustrates two points: the glass symbolizes our hearts, while the evaporating water represents the worldly pursuits, actions, or engagements we use to fill it.
These endeavors (1 Timothy 1:10) always leave us feeling empty, requiring us to seek more in a continuous cycle for a fleeting sense of peace. Jesus alone is the source of water that quenches without leaving you thirsty. (John 4:13-14)
A sincere confession of faith is a heartfelt decision, acknowledging that such a statement of faith anticipates life changes ahead away from the old.
For instance, if you engage in excessive drinking, drug use, same-sex relationships, or any form of sexual activity outside of marriage, dedicating oneself to Jesus Christ implies a commitment to turn away from sinful behaviors and gradually transform your life to reflect the likeness of Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-11)
This is a public declaration affirming your inclusion in God's family. It solidifies your relationship with Jesus Christ. Baptism is a public declaration to the unseen about your allegiance and your voluntary commitment to emulate Jesus in your everyday life by carrying your cross and following Him every day. (Luke 9:23)
Connect with your local church to begin this journey. Baptism holds significant importance.
Now the inner work begins as we introspectively examine ourselves to identify areas for personal growth. (Romans 12:2) A good approach is to categorize these areas from simplest to most challenging.
Begin with the easiest and focus on making changes there. Starting with the simpler tasks helps in establishing habits in your transformation journey. (Philippians 2:7)
Rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit as you navigate through this journey.
Unlock your heart's door, allowing Jesus full access. He walks gently with us through unresolved hurts, perfectly healing and restoring us from any past or present struggles, even those beyond our control. (2 Corinthians 9:7) Take a leap of trust; land in the passenger seat.
Jesus knows you better than you know yourself, making Him the ultimate heart doctor who can mold you into His intended person. (Romans 8:27-37) God's opinion is the only one that truly matters; all others are irrelevant.
As the Lord accompanies you on your journey of healing, begin with the simplest task from your list. Approach Jesus directly, seeking His guidance on how to tackle it. Concentrate on one item at a time, focusing solely on the immediate step. (Philippians 2:13)
Avoid looking too far ahead — take it one step at a time. This method requires patience; let the Lord oversee the timing and expectations, not you. Always seek Him first and foremost before turning to others. He is the most trustworthy.
This process offers a unique connection with Jesus. You'll witness His distinctive hand in your life, a presence beyond worldly understanding. Jesus will tenderly transform your life in an awesome way. (Luke 12:22)
He's incredible and desires connection, which takes time like any relationship. Invest daily time with Him. The more, the merrier. His presence will silently comfort you amid this healing. This is a time for tears to cleanse past wounds; let Jesus guide that release from your heart.
Many desire to hear God's voice, yet surprisingly, some fear the potential sacrifices in serving Jesus. Now, we live our lives for Him. If we opt to, we can embrace a purpose aligned with His Heavenly kingdom on earth. (16:13)
This is where tuning our ears to the gentle whisper of the Holy Spirit becomes crucial in nurturing our relationship. Listening for His quiet voice is vital, as He speaks to us continuously. The question is, are we listening? (Psalm 25:4-5)
Walking in faith means taking a step even when uncertain while having no control. (2 Corinthians 5:7) It's about moving forward, assured that God's protection is with you. God doesn't abandon or harm; that's satan's doing. (John 10:10) (Matthew 6:19)
After Jesus' triumph, all that remains for satan are lies. This is a world characterized by imperfection and mortality. God is not responsible for that. (James 1:13)
Proceed with courage, even amidst fear.
God will offer choices to challenge your faith, allowing you to witness His immense greatness. You have the option to say yes or decline. Saying yes brings adventure, growth, and deepens your faith, enabling God to intervene with His perfection and power through you. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Lives transform, souls are saved in Jesus' name, instant healings occur, and situations shift for the better. It's not about the tools; it's always about Jesus receiving glory. (Matthew 10:8)
